Before Oasis

What is Oasis?

Oasis is an intimate destination music festival featuring today’s top underground electronic talent.

When and where is Oasis held?

Oasis will be held in Marrakech, Morocco from 11-13 September, 2015. Find more information about the stunning festival site on our Venue page.

How old do you have to be to attend Oasis?

Oasis attendees must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the festival. Proper identification will be required for wristband pick-up and entry.

Why should I attend Oasis?

Why wouldn’t you want to listen to the world’s best underground electronic talent in a warm, exotic location surrounded by friends old and new? It is time to dance somewhere different.

What are the ticket options? How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets to Oasis can be purchased online as 3-day general admission passes that grant entry to the full weekend of Oasis programming. Ticket prices will continue to rise as the festival date approaches, so get in on the action early for your best deal. Get your ticket now!

When and how do I get my wristband(s)?

Once you purchase your ticket, you’ll receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to exchange your electronic ticket for your 3-day wristband once in Marrakech. More information on wristband pick-up locations and hours will become available before the festival.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds and exchanges are not available. Oasis is a rain or shine event and artists are subject to change.

Can I resell my wristband?

How can I learn more about Moroccan culture?

Our Morocco page is filled with helpful information for travelling to Marrakech. As the festival approaches, we’ll be adding more features to help you explore the city!

Is Morocco a safe country to travel to for foreigners?

Morocco is a safe holiday destination for travellers, largely because Morocco’s economy is supported by tourism. Reforms, such as registering tour guides and placing Tourist Police in every major city, are in place to ensure visitors a carefree stay.

Politically, Morocco is stable and has witnessed a peaceful process in its democratic and modernizing reforms. Unlike some neighboring North African countries, Morocco has remained free of political upheaval in its journey towards a democratic government.

Moroccans practice a moderate and tolerant form of Islam and, while Islamic extremism has existed, terrorist attacks have been extremely rare.

The most common complaint from foreign travellers in Morocco tends to be their experience with locals hassling them to buy their goods. The best way to avoid these interactions once they begin is to simply walk away.

Is Morocco affected by the Ebola outbreak?

Morocco is geographically on the other side of the Sahara to the Ebola outbreak, and the areas between are barely populated areas with very little travel or trade in between. If ebola was to spread to Morocco, it would almost certainly be by plane. As a result, the Moroccan government has taken safety measures against the Ebola outbreak in sub Saharan Africa to stop the potential spread of the disease. All flights to and from infected countries have been put on hold until further notice.
